Birthday Invitation Wording No Gifts What's A Polite Wording For This Invitation Situation?

What's a polite wording for this invitation situation? - birthday invitation wording no gifts

My daughter would ask for a gift for 10th birthday We ask customers to donate a collection of a shelter into force when they are ready. How do I politely state this on your invitations?

I appreciate your gifts, but I would like to share!
Pets in ___________ really need our attention!
So, if I choose a gift in this, my special day ...
_________ Please donate to help a stray dog in need!

And Schnizel is bad .. educated people always assume that others will be well educated. It is natural to assume that people will bring a gift.

astralpen and Schnizelle the right idea - but you know that for the party 10 years to bring birthday gifts - have technology we can "politely" People do not expect gifts, etc., but traditionally, you know, talk to other children to buy gifts for children .... Then go to the proposal of the first poster. Unless you are a little light "to make a" instead of gifts, Katie (whatever his name girl), please make a donation to the shelter Blah Blah "

Edit: Mosaic proposal is very appropriate and good for your chance ...

There is no polite way to respond to the generosity of others. No, never, in any situation.

Apart from the question of gifts in your invitations. When you donate to shelters, you could give your time or washing cars to raise money for housing assistance or something to deserve it.

Educated people act as if they expect a gift, and it is taught a good lesson, please do not in any way, this principle of life, but also for things that work, love it. :)

I think I dog food, blankets, etc. only say PET sticks, I would be grateful, rather than the "normal" gifts of products that can be used to bring in our local shelter - like a bag of dog or cat food, pet coverage, etc., etc., and allow a better answer. You can check with the shelter and find out what they need, and the list of items.

What a beautiful thing! Good luck!

Instead of a gift, please donate to charity ...

1 Sounds good. I would add "at the request of xxx" being taken seriously. XXX is the name of his daughter, of course.

His first defendant was correct.
